
Bug Fix Instructions
Sharing Data on Network or with Report Editor
There is a bug to prevent HQ from sharing data in a network situation or
with the Report Editor. To resolve this issue, please follow the instructions below:
To fix the networking problem, you need to manually edit the file ESA3.INI
using the Notepad program (on each computer). Delete any characters to the right of the
'=' character (please see the sample below).

PrivateDir=
If you don't know how to open the ESA3.INI file using the Notepad program,
just following the steps below:
1) Click the Windows's Start button and select the Run menu.
2) Type in "notepad" in the Run dialogue.
3) In the Notepad, select the menu "File | Open".
4) In the Open dialogue, type in C:\PROGRAM FILES\HNDQT330\ESA3.INI in the "File
name" field.
5) Delete any characters to the right of the '=' character for both
NetFileDir and PrivateDir.
6) Select the menu "File | Save" to save the changes.
7) Select the menu "File | Exit" to exit from Notepad.
Directory is controlled by other .NET file
Quit all HQ, then try to locate (use the Find files facility of Windows )
all the the following files in your hard drive and delete them.
Pdoxusrs.lck
Paradox.lck
Pdoxusrs.net
OrderForm.CPP(...): KeyViolation: Failed at TblOrderAfterPost
The Order Items table is corrupted. First is to try using the Table Repair
Utility to repair the data?
If the Table Repair Utility program cannot repair it, then solve this
problem manually by deleting the last record of the Sales Order record. The steps are:
1) Open the Sales Order Editor window.
2) Click the Last button (>>) to get to the last record.
3) Delete the record.
4) Back to main screen and try creating a new quote, if sucessful, then you
have solved the problem.
5) Otherwise go back to step 1.
